Place the door anchors securely over the top and bottom of a sturdy door. Close and lock the door before use, making sure the door opens away from the person being restrained whenever possible.

Adjust the upper and lower straps to the desired height before attaching the cuffs. Secure the wrist and ankle cuffs comfortably, making sure they are snug but not tight enough to restrict circulation.
